Hello

Would someone please tell me how can I create another name server alias in addition to my first main name servers in WHM?(I have reseller access on this WHM)

1- Is it enough to register two of my IP addresses as name servers for my additional domain at my domain registrar? (so that bind on the box resolve names which it receives on these new IPs)?

2- Or I need to create a zone with two nameservers (NS records etc.) in addition to above step?

3- Or I am not able to do this as a reseller and WHM administrator must do this?

To add name servers for another domain you would do this, you need 2 spare IP addresses,

Create an account or DNS zone for the domain.

Add the following 'A' Records to the DNS zone:

ns1 'A" 1.1.1.1 (IP from your box)
ns2 'A' 1.1.1.2 (IP from your box)

Usually you would assign the domain 'A' Record to the ns1 IP address (Websites can use name server IP's)

Register those IP's at your registrar - (Create name servers)
