Something amusing I saw at another forum...
A thread for Linux problems...

I'm attempting to install a Cisco Aironet 350 wireless card on my server. It is the PCMCIA card with the PCI adapter. I must say, i think i've managed to **** that up quite well. The question i have is, will the PCMCIA support in the 2.4.x Kernel work for this card? I've tried installing the Cisco client and it keeps telling me it can't find my radio.
I've all ready gone in and aliased it as eth2 when i check the insmod it shows up just fine, when i restart i keep getting the message:
file /lib/modules/kernel/net/pcmcia/airo.0 contains unresolved symbols.
Also it says it is not an ELF file... wtf is an elf file?

an ELF file..
contrary to popular belief, computers are not complex electronic machines. they are actually farms where magic elves grow berries and beans. now, bill gates knows this, so he wrote a script into windows that will automatically feed the elves whenever they are hungry. however, linux people know nothing about the true nature of computers, so they had to add in an elf feeding script after several elves up and left.
basically, the problem was eventually resolved by using gnomes instead of elves. however, some modern versons of linux still work with elves, and they are very hostile to gnomes taking over their territory. your card is obviously gnome driven, and so the elves are angry. next time look for the certified elven friendly logo on the box!
hope this helps!!
