Alot of the time when I go to some certain sites that are hosted on my Raq, I get the Cobalt Raq screen instead of the Real web page. Even some pages that arent hosted on the Raq this happens with, only on the internal network though, the raq is all the sites DNS server also. What the hell is wrong?? I DONT GET IT.

Thanks:angry:

Check your A records in the DNS CP. Also, check your ip addresses on the virtual sites in Site Admin. Also, check what the index pages are named. See if you have multiple index pages, such as index.html, index.htm, or even Index.html and index.html. Since RaQ is case sensitive on file names, you can have multiple copies of the index page with case sensitive names.

For example, when you setup a virtual site, RaQ will create the Cobalt Index page as index.html. If, as what happened to us, you then copy/ftp/publish a website from Windows to the cobalt and the index page was named as Index.html, then you will have both pages existing on the website. RaQ will look for index.html and then index.htm.

If this only occurs internally, check your dns settings in windows on your network connection. If you have put the ip addresses of the primary and secondary DNS servers of the websites as opposed to the primary and secondary dns servers of the isp, then this could cause problems. Also, it could be a cache problem. It can take anywhere from 24 - 72 hours for changes to be reflected.

This happens with sites hosted on the windows server, not the raq, internally only.
