Hello everyone

I'm not sure if I posted this in the correct forum, so please pardon me if it's in the wrong place.

My website was blocked by a few countries in the middle east because it has political and religious content that they just dont agree with! :uzi:
However most of my visitors are from over there and I dont want to lose them becuase the content is basically targeting them primarily.. is there a way to make the site available to them?

I know some websites use another domain to access the banned domain.. but how is this set up exactly??

thanks!

What exactly is blocked? Your domain or the IP it resides?

If it's domain - register another. It's cheap these days.

If it's IP - change it (i.e. change the hosting company or ask your host to move you to the different server).

Good luck!

Hello

well I'm pretty sure it's the domain only. so I register another and then do domain masking from the domain control panel? or do I have to move my content to the new domain?

thank you very much :)

I am not sure if domain masking will ever work. As far as I understand, it's done with html frames and content of the site is actually fetched from the main domainname, so I don't think it's gonna work.

I'm afraid you'll be forced to move the whole content...
