What scripts or software is out there to automate the order process? As in, the client goes through the order process, and has their account added and set up in my control panel without me doing anything to the account manually.
Also, is this something I can add to my site myself (depending on what control panel I end up with obviously), or is it something that could only be added by my web host?
And on a side note... does anyone know of any reseller hosts that offer such software in their packages?

Aurora,
My father picked up a reseller account with Site5 (www.site5.com) and ClientExec was included in his package.

We have a reseller account on Site5. They provide ClientExec software with any reseller hosting package. But we don't use it. Because it's very complex. Also you can try Whois.Cart software.

I'd have to recommend ClientExec. It's affordable, very reliable and the support team over there are very good!

I managed to find a host that uses clientexec and fits the needs I have as well, elitehosts.com

I wholly recommend WHMAP, it is by far the most intuitive and feature packed billing control panel on the list up there.

I used to use clientexec, it was still pretty new then and didn't have a lot of the features I needed at the time, I'm sure now they have further advanced their software, might be better now, support was always good.
I currently use modernbill, I like it very much, support often leaves you disgruntled, specifically the time it takes to resolve an issue (questions back and forth over and over). It is a full featured and I'm guessing that it is likely the leading script in the hosting market.
I don't have experience with the others so I can't really comment but I have heard that WHMAutopilot has progressed very well.

I'd also recommend against automating anything "too much".
Verify all orders first otherwise enjoy the swamp of spam you create.
