Forgot to mention that my friend from dreamingintrance.com has no problems for about 7months, but then they just stopped sending replys to his questions.

But they started replying and said they were working on adding new support. I didn't ask him what else he had problems with, but when I was able to use his site for the end of his 1yr contract I didn't have much problems with scripts/cgi/php. Thats why I desided to get my own account.

I just hope they did add more support... because damnit! its cheap and its fast!

also I have my name Razster.com under a different registerer. So I think I'm set and OK.

I just NOW got my server/ftp access... so in 24/72 hrs Razster.com will be up and running, so far so good!

Only took 12hrs for my register info and setup. Not to bad for $4.95 Unlimited POP/Space/Bandwidth(Limited Bandwidth really).

My experience with HOSTONCE has been terrible. I have had an account with them for about 9 months and I am very dissapointed. My sites are constantly down, and I can get no response from their help desk.

They operate out of Australia and the government here, takes a very dim view of scam operations.

Why get them shut down? I think you're being unfair. Ok so you may have had a bad experience but maybe they have thousands of customers who are doing just fine??!??!? And of course you don't hear about them..they're happy...they don't need to post here or anywhere else for that matter.
I think HostOnce is a fine example of you get what you pay for. I have a site with them (www.ashcroftunofficial.co.uk) and altho sometimes I have to wait up to 48 hours for a reply from them I am more than happy with what they do. I have had maybe 18 hours downtime in 8 months hosting - I couldn't ask anymore for £3.95 a month!

Yes,complete and utter crap.
Please,save the lectures,over 3/4 of Hostonce.com/au/uk all have problems,in my first experience I had problems and don't tell me others dont.
They have bad support and bad service,they make false statements abotu billing and what they offer.their servers are slow and they used to be on DonHost (some still are).
They rip off people and are making alot of cash from doing so.There has been no web host like hostonce that has had so much bad publicity, so they arn't like any other web host.
