That's a hard one omega :D I would suggest you either lower your requirements or raise your budget.

Another person looking for 800 mbs at that price?!

Puh-lease. No virtual host is going to give you 800mbs for just $17.00/month. Heck, they won't do that for even a quarter of what you're asking.

I'm just wondering what you are trying to do? You want a lot of space, and subdomains (with FTP accounts I presume), so are you wanting to start a free subdomain host?

something like that....i just want to have alot of stuff.....i can pay more than that but i have seen other hosts offer stuff like that for that price....but i didnt beleive it was true....what could i get for that price? or what price would i have to pay for what i want?

For what you're asking, I think you might need to move that decimal point over one place to the right. :)

If you've got a business plan in mind that calls for fast, serious growth, I'd consider a low-priced dedicated server. If your website is going to be more of a hobby, you might want to look into Communitech.net, which has pretty much all of the features you're asking for (including sub.domain.com and multiple FTPs), although not as much as you're asking for. You can pre-pay for a year and get about a $23/month rate.

I know Communitech.net doesn't have the greatest reputation, although I just noticed that they switched their bandwidth from "unlimited" to 25 gigs/month (that's A LOT). I think one of the reasons Communitech.net has a bad rap is they cut off customers for using too much of their "unlimited" bandwidth; maybe since they have now put a number on the amount of bandwidth you can use, that problem is solved.

If you don't believe it's true then it probably isn't true. Stay away from stuff like this. It just gets you in a bind in the long run.

Have to agree with the others. It's asking a lot for very little. You'll have to either a) lower your requirements, b) raise your budget or c) look into a dedicated or low-use shared machine. Or some combination of these.

Also, don't furget .. the host still needs to allows you to resell your own space .. most don't (I personally don't myself)
