Just curious, how can a host so bad be on CNET's top 3 list?

This is the biggest BS on their page. CNet judges "Most Popular" by the amount of clicks you get. NOTHING more. So of course some cheap host will get more clicks and appear *more popular*.
Infinology.com are the biggest false advertisers that knowing lie to customers about this so called popularity. Read their press:

That's not for two days. It covers the period from April 9 - May 2. So, it covers 24 days.
Second, I have found with easymonitor, if it only shows one down time (15 minutes on 15 minute monitoring), it generally wasn't down, but just a connectivity problem somewhere along the line.
However, even considering all the times, their uptime is 98.8% and I would suspect a truer measurement would be more like 99.3%. Either way not great, but not as bad as it would be if it was a two day period and certainly not among the worst out there.

It's quite bad actually, only thing that EasyMonitor keeps the last 10 logs.
