Hi,

Is something like this what you're looking for?

http://www.micronicos.com/whatsnew/whois-servers-list.html

Anyway, I'm sure Whois.Cart developers should be able to help you with your request. :)

hi, this is my first post here.

'm just starting my own hosting business that will run along side my web design business.

I wish to use a domain name checker for my website and have the complete script to do this but unfortunately it does not work with the .co.uk extension.

it has all the information there for it to work but it seems like any .co.uk server that is checked, will always come back as unavailable :(

i'm using the standard whois.nic.uk server to check with.

The script is ok other than this as all other domain extentions work.

If anybody could help it would be brilliant :)

what is the server name for whois.ws because i tryed whois.ws and i could not get any responce. i may not have explained myself as clearly...

i have my own availability checker on my website and for each extention it will do a search on a different whois server. the uk one is obviously on the whois.nic.uk server...

i have noticed on nominet's website that u must apply for the use of their DAC (domain availability checker). does this mean i would also have to apply?

i have also tryed whois.nic.uk from my website on other computers too so its not my pc causing the problem...

any help wanted :)

whois.completewhois.com - that should work for all gTLDs and most ccTLDs.

Good luck!!!

You can seach all .TLD.
But its down for >80% ... now it still doesnt work :(

Try whois.sc, but its blameworthy because of old info :/

No problemo for me - loads just fine.

However, the question was about whois servers, not web interfaces to them.
