YACCO = Yet Another Cogent Colocation Offer
This is a limited availability offer, limited by the current headroom on The Net Gamer’s existing Cogent line. Once that headroom is gone, so is the offer.
The Net Gamer is making its excess Cogent bandwidth available to anyone and everyone who needs it. This surplus bandwidth will be sliced into 10 Mb/s shared or dedicated pipes, depending on how much the customer wishes to spend. There is no commitment required from you beyond month to month, meaning no term contracts to sign. References are available upon emailed request.
This is what we offer:
Shared 10 Mb/s full duplex pipe: starts at $89.99/mo. per computer
Dedicated 10 Mb/s full duplex pipe for one colocated computer: $299.99/mo
Dedicated 10 Mb/s full duplex pipe for up to five colocated computers: $499.99/mo.
Dedicated 10 Mb/s full duplex pipe for up to ten colocated computers: $799.99/mo.
No setup charge, although we do collect a modest deposit for return shipping.
This is what we include:
A climate controlled home for your rackmount, minitower, or desktop computer.
A single solitary IP address with no possibility to acquire extra IPs.
All you can eat transfer, it’s all unmetered.
A remote reboot outlet.
Two other items of note:
We will only accept dual or single CPU computers.
The only content restriction is that the content on your colocated computer must be legal.
We fully understand that our offers may not appeal to everyone. Frankly it isn’t everyone we are trying to interest with this surplus bandwidth. Understand that colocation is just gravy to The Net Gamer. We figure, why let a perfectly good asset go to waste when there are those clamoring for inexpensive bandwidth. So if our offer isn’t for you, so be it. For those of you who are interested, you can learn more about The Net Gamer at our website, and at our pages dedicated to our colocation offers.
