I just emailed a certain person about their service. I gave them some money in exchange for advertising. Today when I logged in, I saw a message: WARNING! NO MONEY!. (not the exact message, of course ;) ) And when I chose to view my ads, I saw someone else's. In my email I said that I would contact my card company's fraud dept. if I could not find the money in my account. In exchange for my email they cancelled my account (to their credit they refunded my money). All I wanted was to continue my service. I assumed it was a technical glitch... They said it was bad to assume fraud. Did I do something wrong here?

Sounds like you'll be better off without them.

Well, you probably could have done it better. Most online merchants have a phobia of chargebacks. As soon as you mentioned fraud, they probably labelled you a high risk chargeback customer and cancelled you immediately based on that.
I don't know what you wrote to them exactly, of course, but it's usually best to start off assuming that it was an honest mistake. You've got plenty of time to do a chargeback if necessary, so start with the questions. If the answers are unsatisfactory, ask for a refund. If the refund doesn't happen without a reasonable excuse, pursue a chargeback.

Well they haven't responded to my emails, usually they take 15-30 minutes, it's been a few hours now. So I assume they don't want my money anymore. I wanted to stay with them, but I guess they don't want to stay with me :( Oh well, more money for advertising elsewhere :(

Well, when a small company I've never heard of before has my money disappear, I get a bit nervous. And if I contacted Amazon.com complaining that all my paid but undelivered items disappeard from my control panel, would they tell me that I should go away?
