Are there any companies like bobcares.com out there who also offer phone support?

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone in who can meet the price of bobcares and that is not who we are seeking to compete with.

I know bobcares.com has great prices, but no phone support.

And I also realise that only companies based in countries like India can compete with bobcares.com.

India has many people that speak English very well, so I think it would be possible to have some sort of phone support service next to e-mail support.
(just think of all the call centers in India working for American companies, why wouldn't it work for hosting?)

I have no doubt that you're correct. In fact, voice over IP will probably make that much more possible. What options have you looked into?

We've tried every possible means to contact Cylynx but with no success to date - email, telephone, feedback forms, contact form, even calling to their Philipines number.

Anybody had luck with Cylynx at all?

I talked to them a good while ago. Their pricing at that time was such that you would need considerable volume to justify it - I figured at least 4,000 customers if you wanted to have 24/7/365. Also, you might search here as I recall some reviews long ago...seemed to be mixed.

I think they were trying to build with a smaller number of very large accounts. Haven't tried to contact them in months.

Funny, the last news posted on their site under "new and exciting" is dated August, 2001. At that time they claimed 250,000 end users.
