They don't have a phone number listed on site. I asked their support twice today but he would not give the phone number. I was unable to login and have not received 3 sales in my account including one today (most of my sales are from paypal). It's ok for some sites not to list numbers but a company like theirs which handles payments for so many users should have at least one phone number listed. That's ok too but if a customer asks for a phone number, at least then they should give out the phone number. It is horrible. I won't recommend them because they have had downtime (404 errors on payment forms), support is not good, features are not as good as revecom, especially reporting and they charge more than revecom. I say try revecom, they are definitely better. I still don't know what happened to my 3 transactions. I will know on Monday or next week I suppose, by email, of course.

I find this interesting.

I'd like you to forward me any support email where you were refused our telephone number.

From the very little research I can do without further information, the only account I can find linked to you does not have an email address or a web address listed. With this being the case, you would not receive Sales emails.

Why is our phone number not listed?

The answer is because well over 90% of queries can be answered *in order* via email.
The amount of time spent on a telephone support call is almost 3x longer, on average, then an email response, providing the same information.

When I responded to the previous poster that the 740- number was no longer being used, I didn't post our new number for the simple reason the post stated he needed to speak to some one "urgently"...but it was posted 2 days prior. He certainly could have received an email response in that time.

Tom, I've sent a PM to you, as well as an email (and contact form) to payments@2checkout.com, billing@2checkout.com, support@2checkout.com.

Support I have only submitted yesterday night. But all the ones prior, I've submitted around 5 days ago, yielding no responses yet :/

Tom,

With this being the case, you would not receive Sales emails.
I am not talking about sales "emails" but there are no sales recorded in my account at all. If I don't get emails, my sales should still be in the accout right? I never put in the email because it was not something that is required of me so I only put in the information that was needed and this was setup a while ago before our site went live.

Most of our sales come from paypal. There have been only 3 transactions so far with 2checkout and one was yesterday. I had not bothered to login but when I went to login I could not. I was able to login with the information I had in the "affiliate section" but I was unable to login in the "merchant section" with exactly the same info. Finally, Bill from support reset my password and I logged in but I don't see any transactions and the matter is pending until your billing gets back to me.

I'd like you to forward me any support email where you were refused
He did not give it despite asking for it 3 times. He did not say that he would not give out or refuse per say, but I asked him 3 times and he did not give the number, that is close to being refused. How many times does one need to ask? Regardless, a company like yours should have at least one customer service number if one wants to call. I understand email support but wanted to call because, first I was unable to login and then I don't see any transactions in my account.

I don't have any PMs in my folder here. Obviously PMs are not the way to receive support.
I post my email address on each post and have none from you in my queue.

I checked your account, I don't see any sales either.
I also read the email transcript between you and my tech support.

Any one at the office would have taken your information and had tech support email you, they have no authority to reset a password.
The order numbers you supplied are not 2checkout order numbers, where did you record them from?
I'd be interested in finding out more information on these 404 errors since I don't see where you have input any "product".

All are reasons I asked you to email me.

I got a reply today but still have a problem nothing is resolved ...

The fact is i have a customer in Paraguay, then the internet provider of this guy look like to have and IP listed at 2checkout in the USA...

So over a week now then guy tried to pay me but 2checkout reject all time the payment....

Then today my customer send CCemail to me and 3 2checkout email.. billing, rob & darcie...

This guy at my look, look like pretty legit, they even not having used over a mb of bandwhit since this first signup (still keep installing is site)..

But 2checkout reject is payment because the guy should be using a IP from paraguay.. Then its look like may be is IP is from USA provider that probably sell it to another provider in Paraguay...

So after 2 try, his card have been billed then credited 2 time because this damn IP.....

Then its seem that 2checkout dont want to do anyting ....

I have received 2 message from support since this append then the 2 msg tell

The IP was from US.. then thats it ... I have asked if they can do someting else to do a vérification even call the customer, he have bring his phone # in paraguay so not to hard to give a call to confirm he realy are in paraguay ...

But the fact is 2checkout Dont reply to any other email ... I only got the 2 answer telling the same thing whitout any other reply from her since 2 week then nothing more ...

Then the customer for sure is burning at the outerside and complaint on me because i have closed his account, then now 2checkout seem to dont want to do anything more...

Then its an Yearly payment for high Bandwhit site this piss me off because the way that go i will loose my customer...

Its not too damm hard to just give it a call to customer to confirm he realy are in paraguay ...

I guess its pretty possible that is provider have buy IP from a US provider Then if 2checkout use only this way to validate order this is realy bad !

Then a fraudulous customer will not insisting like this to get is credit card billed i guess....

I think about finding another way to get my payment done .. I realy dont like this kind of support i receive...

Not reply to email to fix a problem is bad ...

Then error on 2checkout IP database will be very plausible !

I was waiting on payment from 2checkout.com - as it was our first I did not know how quickly it would come through, after about 7-8 days I sent an email to billing@2checkout.com just to see whether they could give me status, and then sent another 2 during the week I still haven't received a response however, this problem has now been sorted. I was trying to look for a telephone number to call them on aswell.

I don't see anything wrong with them so far, I hope I don't have to.

BTW, you have a 30 day money back gaurantee Raja...

Try them out before you just cancel I would suggest..

They seem not having any telephone # :-(

Then my customer is trying debating it today..

But the reply from 2checkout was incredibly poor ...

They even have bring is phone # in paraguay then
tell 2checkout to call it !

Will see if 2checkout make the move ...

This is bad, because each time 2checkout get an IP from someone placing and order, if the IP is not from the sector of the card holder the transaction will be reject.. even if the customer is 100% legit .. Then if i try debating this whit 2checkout they dont seem to make any move until now ....

I got two anwser from over a week teling simple

The IP 216.207.250.xx is located in Akron, Ohio USA.
Thank you,
Darcie Miller
2Checkout.com

Then after i send another email asking Hey, can you do someting else to verify my customer i dont want to loose it., then it look like pretty legit ...

Got no other reply at all at this time ....
i'm whit 2checkout since 2,3 month now then start thinking
i have not done a good choice...

If you dont have problem like this all is fine, but when come the time the help of 2checkout is needed to fix a problem like this 2checkout look like to not helping us at all...

Will give you some news of whats going on .. I'm still waiting, then my customer have sending a CC email again this morning asking to call it in paraguay to prove he realy are in paraguay .. Will see if 2checkout will be smart enoufh to do a check or if simply dont botter ...

Not interesting for me btw ... Pretty bad ..

I've been with 2checkout for quite a while now, maybe getting on for a year or so.

I have 3 account with them, have been really pleased with them, and have recommended them to a lot of people.

However, I must say the seeming unwillingness to publish a telephone number is a little worrying. I must be honest though, I don't publish anything more thana voicemail number on ANY of my sites, because I work from home and have don't really see the need as I'm not holding on to anyones money.

But I'd expect an operation like 2co to be working from offices (not home), and for them to have a real phone number. If they are holding my money, I'd just feel more comfortable if I knew how to get hold of them.

I am not suggesting for a moment that anything untoward or dishonest is going on, just that a lot of us would feel better if we knew how to contact you in the event we ever need to speak to a real live human being.

Tom, in one or two of your posts you mentioned exactly why you had not previously posted the phone number, but then stopped dead, where a natural progression would have been "i didn't give the number because xxx .. but if you ever need it the phone number is xxx.".

I fully respect that phone support can take ages, and that many customers can be annoying muppets, but I think a financial institution needs a phone number of some kind. Not having one is probably putting a lot of people off signing up with you.

I can't imagine posting it here would result in you being inundated with calls... on the grand scale of things I wouldn't imagine many people know about this forum.

You have a great organization and I am happy with the way I have been treated, so how about it?

I have to say, my experiences over 2checkout has not been good at all. Things took a long time to get done, plus the don't list a phone number. I looked at PaySystems a while back, and compared it to 2checkout, it is litteraly a difference of less then $.10 for any amount of order. Plus if you call PaySystems on their POSTED toll free number, it takes 2minutes or less to get anything you need to be taken care of.

Sounds like a business ran from a bedroom (Which is ok, if you are selling $5 hosting accounts)

but for a finacial merchant account business, theres no way I would allow a company like this to handle it.
Even I provide a phone number while running my business from my bedroom :)

Funny how fast people are to complain. Serious questions are answered quickly and responsibly; heck, after a 2 minute conversation Kristin@2Checkout is now placing air mail stickers on all my snail mail.

It must be a busy bedroom.
GET IT ON TomD!
