View Full Version : Do people make a good living at this?
batcavenet 05-01-2002, 02:38 PM I'm just wondering with all the people running this as a hobby / side business- is there really potential to make enough to replace what is made doing other things in other industries. I'm just wondering how things compare salary wise to other industries - thanks!

Tranz 05-01-2002, 03:13 PM I personaly know of someone bringing in $50k per month from hosting. After his expenses of course that is reduced but he isnt hurting.
I know of 19 year old (my next door neighbor) that is bringing in $18k per month. he has 3 xxx video sites but hey, its still $$. Some people have issues and some dont.
workingklown 05-01-2002, 04:59 PM I knew a kid at my school that was running his own hosting company and make 100k a year. I hope I can beat that by senoir year.
NumLock 05-01-2002, 05:31 PM depends on how old that kid is

workingklown 05-01-2002, 06:25 PM I think 3 years. He started at the same age I am (15).
nocturnix123 05-01-2002, 07:49 PM I know a 13 year old making $40k a year from selling popsicles on my street corner.
