Anyone use or heard of American Incorpators Ltd.

http://www.ailcorp.com/index.jsp

They quoted me $330 for forming an LLC in New Jersey.
This seems much less than I've read elsewhere.

Thanks.

I use bizfilings.com myself.. however be aware that most all of those companies don't do all the paperwork for you, its a good idea to have an accountant handy as well.

No legal advice is attached to this post. I don't know anything about this company, so I can't say whether their a good company or bad, but I thought I'd post another option for you.

Are you happy with them? Do they provide everything you need to form an LLC ?

Thanks.

Why don't you do it yourself?

It took me 10 minutes for the paperwork (1 Member LLC) and less than 30 minutes at the state office. $100 for immediate processing and I was done. $50 less if I would have waited about 1-2 weeks.

They did the job they were supposto do. So yeh I'm fairly happy with them, althou since I filed out of state I had more instate paperwork to do but that was no major obstical, once I saw the paperwork that bizfilings did do, I noticed I could have done the same, but it varies on your level of confidence I suppose.

Are you saying that if you do it yourself, it can cost as little as $50?

That soley depends on the filing fee's each state has.

If I were to file myself in Alabama the state filing fee would have been $75, but your also going to have federal and state tax paperwork coming shortly after that, which is where I recommend an accountant. Plus you'll need to file for a Federal TAX ID number for the business, so there's some more paperwork involved there (i forget if they have a fee)

Yes, the cost would have been $50 if I would have had more patience. And "No" - there does not need to be more paperwork invilved in a single member LLC with no employees and if you have not to collect sales tax at all. You file it with your SSN and your regular tax return and also use the SSN as the EID.

Getting a tax id is easy (IRS calls it "Employer Identification Number"). The Form (http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/fss4.pdf)
No charge, you can print the form, fill it out, and fax it back. A week or two you'll get your #.

Or you can call 1-866-816-2065 and and a cheerful IRS representative will be more than happy to add you to the tax rolls. Remember that you must first be a registered entity in your state (DBA, Inc., etc.) before you do this.

are there annual fees involved for an LLC?
What if you have 2 people involved in an LLC?
Can you post me a link to an LLC form?

Check with your state's "Secretary of State".
