I am thinking of moving servers but I need good and stable servers, is Rackspace really that good? I have heard a lot about them and know they are exspensive, but are they worth it?

They are worth it if you can afford them I suppose. But then again, isn't part of a package's worth its price? I'm on Rackspace now, and am slightly tempted each month to move to another host.

The thing I am looking for is a reliable hosting company for a dedicated server which can support us addequately.

Good fast servers, with a near perfect up-time (but who doesn't want that), a control panel (have some Linux, but not that much) and a good bandwidth deal as consumation starts at 300GB per month.

300Gb/mo? Whew... that's some nice traffic..

Tell me about it. In November we had a little "outburst" which lead to 600GB in traffic. The creators of the product we promote released a patch which fixed a lot of known problems.

That is why we need a good server. So nothing percentile, but real traffic.
