But I would assume that it would be one of the last things to be added as not that many people have a need for this.. microsol 05-01-2002, 08:09 PM Originally posted by mahinder too bad you can not ssh or telnet through pda's NOT TRUE! I have a full blown debian version with the 2.4 kernel AND SSH on my IPAQ with a 340MB microdrive. If you choose not to go with the microdrive (cost) you can install it yourself including X-Windows on about 12-15MB free space. By default the SSH install is disabled but you can run ipkg which installs it for you. zRedDice 05-01-2002, 08:55 PM Funny how the Sharp requires Windows on your PC... *hehe* - James;) Alan - Vox 05-01-2002, 09:00 PM Could you get one of them then install ssh on it then? I would like to get a pda so i can fix servers where ever i am :) microsol 05-01-2002, 09:31 PM Check http://www.handhelds.org/ They're actively sponsored by Compaq and you'll find it the BEST resource out there, guaranteed ;) microsol 05-01-2002, 09:36 PM I tried to edit the above post to attach a pic but it wasn't possible.
