I am one of their customers who booked an annual contract with them for one of their packages. When I tried to access their site http://www.nuke.to i just keep on getting error messages.

Anyone else having the same problem?

i hope its not true, but from what research i did on some forums it appears that nuke.to has indeed folded up. what is shocking is that i have not received any information about this.

i will now take the necessary action to recover my money. i just hope that the owner of nuke.to contacts me by email immediately and subsequently refunds me the entire amount failing which i shall be forced to inform relevant authorities in singapore where he is based for gross negligience and, perhaps an intent to defraud.

i had booked one of his annual specials a few months ago. from the very beginning, i had problems with his technical support. this had then resulted in my having to explain to my customers. after several days of patience, i had decided to give them a few months to improve their support. inspite of losing a few customers due to nuke.to's delay and negligience.

but now i find out that he has folded up without so much as an email !!!!!

nobody messes with me by trying to usurp my money, in full or part. the owner of nuke.to will find out what i mean soon if there is any more delay or negligience in refunding my money in full, since i had already been affected by his earlier negligience and delays in providing me effective and timely tech support when i needed it most.

Tonga is a group of islands in the pacific...

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Best of luck tracking this guy down, but be prepared for some heartache. Quite often these people just disappear, or even pop up as a totally different company. It also tends to happen a lot more with companies promising a lot for next to nothing. You'd be well advised to stick to monthly payments for hosting. You might feel you'll save a bit by paying for a year, but when they disappear like this it's not much of a saving at all.

Jame Kio (the guy who ran nuke.to) was reasonable, im sure if you email him at webbie@yahoo.com or iwebbie@yahoo.com ( one of the two, i cant remember) he will sort you out with a refund. I belive one of the techs who worked for nuke.to set up her own hosting company at www.renee.net.

If i remember rightly nuke.to used the domain iiza.net as a nameserver domain, perhaps doing a whois on that would bring up his address.

P.S. Im not connected to nuke.to in any way other than I used them to host a personal domain about a year ago.

this nuke.to company have been gone a long long time now but suddenly they've started trying to charge me for a 2nd years service, which is totally stupid.

How can they charge me for something i dont have, luckily the credit card their trying to charge on is maxed out so they cant get their money and ill make sure they never get it either, bastards.


just a warning for anyone who used to be with them keep an eye on your statements guys.
