Is this possible?

I got two e-mail messages today sent to me by a client using a Hotmail e-mail account--and they were sent on February 21st! The context of what's being talked about coincides with what we were discussing at that time (so I know it wasn't simply sent today with an incorrect date).

I've had e-mail arrive two or three days late before, but this is over two months. Is that strange or what?

Hey it's micro$oft what do you expect :D .. That is very weird though I have seen mail from clients using Yahoo come in with wrong dates like off by two or three days but nothing ever months..

There was an article in the New Yorker a while ago about just such a thing. The author sent an e-mail across the office and it vanished for quite some time. Soooo he decided to make an attempt at tracing the path the e-mail had followed, it was very interesting.
