I share Paypal account with my partner because I can't create one since my country is not listed on Paypal.
2 days ago I bought something with Paypal, but I'm not satisfied, I want the seller to refund my money.

Is that possible? Will I get my money in full without the Paypal's fee?

Thanks guys.

FYI: I post here because yesterday I contacted Paypal's customer service and no reply until now.

Anyone?

And one thing, I don't want to use chargeback, I need the seller to refund my money.

Thanks

File a dispute thru PayPal. What is wrong with the item? Buyer's remorse or was it not as described? You can easily win the dispute, but you will have to send the item back.

I mean the seller agree to refund my money, but he told me that my money will not return in full, as paypal's fee still applied.

Is it true?

No. With a PayPal refund you get the full amount back. PayPal reverses the fee charges so the seller doesn't pay any fees....if the seller uses the refund process and not a new money transfer

Exactly. Tell them to click on the transaction and the "refund" link on the bottom. Maybe he doesn't know? Or maybe he is dishonest.

Thank's guys, that's what I want to know.

@i3ighead, I don't know exactly, but I'm sure this is the last time I buy from them.

I forgot to mention: An honest seller will refund the full amount regardless of credit card processing fees...

One last thing...this refund facility available on every seller/paypal control panel right? I just don't want the seller tell me : "Sorry we don't see the refund button".

FYI: I use shared paypal account, so I don't have full access to the control panel.

The "Refund" link should show up for any transaction for 60 days after the payment is received, regardless of the account type. The seller should locate the transaction, click on "Details", and scroll to the bottom of the page to find the "Refund Payment" link. On the following screen, it will show a full refund amount by default, and will also calculate how much PayPal refunds in fees to complete that refund amount. If the seller sends you a full refund, the full fee will be reversed, so the seller does not lose anything to fees. If the seller only gives you a partial refund, the fee will also be partially refunded based on the amount of the refund.
