Hey,

was wondering what you guys suggest about sending out a lot of newsletters. I've been running some services for clients - mostly self-coded scripting in Java/JSP, Perl and PHP. But at a certain "level" (20k+ list members) they all seem fail. It's not very scalable.

I've looked into the following:

Was trying to bridge a gap - app <-> MTA. But those solutions are a bit pricy. What do you guys recommend? Concepts, what technology to use, or do you use a certain service?

I think phpList can handle all this load of emails... has lots of features like batch processing, run from crons etc. etc.... my 0.02euro
