Heh well Mc Ghoush, I see you've posted twice (including this one). Your other post was on Oct 10, 2000 asking:

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?threadid=2437

So I suppose telling you to look here (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?query=interserver.net&forumchoice=-1&booleanand=yes&searchin=all&searchdate=-1&searchuser=&searchdateline=&exactname=yes&action=dosearch&getdaily=&pagenum=) is pointless, since I already did that.

Rather odd.

I can't help but noticing that you keep referring to this company as "he".
Is this a one man band company?

Not true, from what I know he has two employees I hear.
Heck I am a small company as well and I have 8 employees

Yeah! it's more like a bad habit, not a refference.

i would venture to say that 80% off web hosts are 1-2 man operations.
atleast this is what I have found in my investigations.
the majority of those being run out of their home.
do you most of you out there agree to that percentage?

note: some individuals are more than capable of running in such a manner. i just would not trust my business to the whims of 1-2 people though. a prime example is unitedtec, which closed with no warning last week. that was a one employee company. what would have happened if that occured the end of december, and my entire website was based on christmas sales?

This may be true, but really I'm not sure it would have mattered if the company had 15-30 employees. I know of many businesses that would close (or be thrown into turmoil to say the least), if the owner could not go on.

Back when I was working with a hosting company, they had about 10 employees.

3 Techs
1 Delivery boy (saves alot of postage money)
1 offsite tech
2 sales
2 webdesigners to serve the clients
1 online support/sales/billing (which is me)

As long as your server is up there will be no phone calls. If a company actually send each client a printed user guide, not much support is needed.
