Gotta sound off on the exemplary service I've gotten from Ronnie @ AlwaysWebHosting.com.
Back in February I consolidated all my domains under a reseller account with a new host. Unfortunately, either due to equipment problems, lack of contingency planning, or just the planets not aligning properly, I experienced nothing but trouble. I was moved to 3 servers in less than 2 months; considerable downtime, etc.
Two weeks ago I decided enough was enough and went in search of a new host.
I'd read posts about the good service at alwayswebhosting.com, so I figured I'd give them a shot. Ronnie spent a fair amount of time with me on ICQ pre-sale, weathering my inane questions, yet always polite. It only got better once I signed on and needed assistance transferring/configuring my 5 domains. I needed some custom PERL modules installed, and also had to do some "detective work" in order to figure out ways around some of Ensim's peculiarities. I ended up having to call Ronnie a half dozen times to ask questions, touch base on a few things, etc. I never once got voice mail or a busy signal. He always answered and was quite helpful and friendly (almost too friendly given the foibles of this business....hmmm... Hey Ronnie? What drugs you taking? :D :D ).
The server I'm on is FAST; my sites are more responive than they've ever been, according to InternetSeer I've had 100% uptime since I moved over (for the first time in ages).
Thus far, call me one happy customer...
[and the kicker is I'm getting twice the diskspace and 4 times the bandwidth I had with the last host, for the same price. Go figure.]
