Same company as Rapidgrid.net and Hostgrid.net. According to hostblock.net they pay all expenses 6 month ahead... I doubt it though :)

:( Unfortunately, you are confusing several different things here... 1) It IS true that we have often paid several months in advanced numerous times for discounts. This is not true for ALL of our servers, bandwidth, or space as the person above claims...
2) We state unlimited domains-- that does not make it unlimited space/unlimited bandwidth. Just because we have good rates does not make us unreliable. Our service is very reliable -- 99.9% uptime -- we have people constantly watching over the servers to make sure apache and all other services are running.
3) About our service: We offer mainly reseller accounts and normal virtual hosting. We also offer reseller plans in which you share a server with only 3 other resellers. Our servers are located in Houston, Atlanta, and Chicago. For any questions or trial of service, please feel free to contact us.

I bought a semi-dedicated from them on eBay after talking to the owner. Before I bought he told me about 10 times that I COULD run game servers off of them. I used buy it now, paid, got it setup. About an hour later he said that he changed his mind and that I COULD NOT run gaming servers. I asked for a refund, he said he would issue one. It has been a month and still no refund. I am extremely mad at this company so I suggest you stay away. He said he is getting his own datacenter in March so at least wait till then

I tried three times asking about a trial/starter plan. I tried three different ways. I hand my fingers crossed, darn.

Just make sure you are liable for their 30 day moneyback or order a tiny plan so you get a feel for support/network.

Don't trust them! DO NOT GO WITH HOSTBLOCK!! TRUST ME! I have a server with them, they claim that they monitor the servers for uptime. I got a dedicated server with them right now and it has benn down for a week!! NO JOKE! Not a week straight but every 20 minutes it goes down for 5 minutes. They won't even check the hardware! They said it's not a managed server so they won't do crap! Even if it isn't managed, they still have to fix my hardware, they won't issue a refund or anything, they won't respond to any of my emails now either. They're theifs if you ask me. Want to talk detail about this? MSN me at mr_niceguy205@hotmail.com

I can attest to the downtime. Indeed, there is a major problem. Just logging into WHM is enough strain on the sytem to reboot it.
