These guys are by far the worst domain registrar. they can't even tell you what domains you've registered through them. not only that, they don't even let you know when your domains are expering.
response from their support:
"Hello,
I'm sorry, but we do not keep records of domains indexed by owner. It is the owner's responsibility to keep track of what he/she buys. If you send us a list of your domains, we can tell you which ones are registered with us"

Now thats the lamest statement i've ever heard from a registrar. "oh we dont know what you registered through us"

its funny because i thought its only their dedicated servers that sucks.

log in the domain control panel and it shows all the domains registered through them. what's going on here?

they don't have a control panel for their domains. if you buy more than 1 domain from them you'r pretty much screwed.
I bought 7 domains with them, 6 of them expired and went into redemption (without even sending a notification to me) now they want me to pay $100 for each of those to get them back. now this is what i call fair deal right?

well obviously you are not looking at that CAREFULLY
unlike most registrars that ask for a username and a password, these guys will need you to put in the domain name AS WELL as your username and password. so if you are me, with 45 domains registered with different registrars, your not gonna be able to figure out which ones were registered with these people
please read the statement their support team gave before making "huh" comments :)

TheTrance - you missed something - ask them how to login into control panel ;)

I eagerly await your update in the dedicated server forum for this domain registration issue.

Please please keep us posted as I may not be able to sleep tonight as this is of major and grave concern to me.

huh again?

you can enter ANY of the domains you registered with them and log in and all domains will be under one log in.

Is it so difficult to remember one of the seven domains you registered with them?

Some online businesses are starting to do double verification for log in. For example, BofA now requires a site key. It is an extra security measure and seriously, I don't think it is that unreasonable.

Have you tried to contact ev1 support? They use opensrs and I think opensrs will allow multiple names to be linked under one account

Althought I can't find a way to manage multiple domains in EV1 control panel myself, but I think in this case EV1 support *IS* right. It's nobody's but your fault if you can't keep track of your possessions.

Even more - I'm getting several expiration reports (90, 60, 30 and 15 days before) to my e-mail from them and there were never any problems with that. Perhaps you don't keep track not only of your possessions but of your changing emails as well...

I certainly got reminders of renewals way ahead of time. If your email address isn't correct in your info, then you wouldn't receive them.

First off, it's not about EV1Servers.net but Tucows/OpenSRS which they resell. (Please be reminded that they are now ICANN-accredited themselves, and have their own registrar site at resellone.net.)

For those who don't know how to consolidate all your domains into one account, please login and check out "Profile > Change Ownership of Domain" where you can move your domains to another EXISTING profile of yours, or even to create a new one for that purpose. For new registrations, just make sure you don't create yet another profile but use an existing one. By the way, it's been like that FOR YEARS!
