Hi,
Im starting a web hosting company and didn't like the control panels that were arround. A friend and i have been moding a freeware control panel called phpemanager.
It is working on freeBSD and everything is going well but we would like to have some help developing this FREEware project.
We are going to release the source once everthing is working ect.
We are looking the following;
PHP programmers with FreeBSD experience,
Graphics people for theme,

We are looking for people with enough time to be able to help.
This is NOT a commercial thing. It is for the better of the hosting comunity :-)

If you would like to help please email me with your sujestions and some information about your self.

Thanks
Jbuckle

PS. We are only looking for a couple of dedicated people to help :-)

Maybe you would like to piggy back on what we have done already on web://cp (http://webcp.can-host.com)

There is already someone working on a FreeBSD 'port', I would believe that the amount of work needed is relatively small.

I'm interested in taking a look at your CP, but the port used is blocked at my workplace. Could you post some screenshots so I can have a sneak peek? :)

My boss posted on this thread:

You can find screenshot of what webcp was in beginning April.

Keep in mind that its skinnable so the green interface you see can be almost anything else.

I like webcp the reseller features is great but it doesn't have the features that we wanted for the end user like DNS control and a couple of other things.
It would be nice to conbine the 2 and that would make a very very good control panel :-)
Thanks

There are many free control panels in development. Sadly they will probably remain that way.
