I am at lost for words on what registerfly has done to a domain I have had for 10 years, Just straight up lost the domain totally. Can't be found. I've built up a very good company with the name and promoted the domain name through all sorts of mediums, now it's just vanished. So i've decided to put all of my energy into boycotting registerfly.com with noregisterfly.com. It's a forum where people can rant and rave about what registerfly has done to so many people. Registerfly will never see the posts in here, but you can speak up about registerfly on noregisterfly.com. Don't let it happen to you.

Thanks!

What was your domain name? What do you mean by vanish?

Vanish?? Is that possible? Did it possibly expire and you did not get notifications about it?

I have never seen domain names just vanish before.

The only time I've seen a domain vanish if something on it was used for phising and the registrar suspended it. If you put the domain into www.dnsreport.com what do you get?

Too bad the poster hasn't provided specifics as to what happened. I tried reading
all his posts and I can't even get a clue.

Let me tell my own story...

I registered a domain name with registerfly.com on Nov21, 2005 for two years. I have a receipt in my email. I had the name sitting until I figured out how to have a drupal installation there. So I accidentally had MY OWN domain name listed on the google results and I clicked, and what I see is that someone else has a website there.

I went to registerfly.com but couldn't sign in, for my username DIDN'T EXIST.

I see from whois that my domain was registered by this other guy in December. Here is the story. I just emailed their support but I don't think they will ever respond judging from the stories here.

ps: I have other domains with them, I don't know how many. None, now, perhaps.
