I will be starting my reseller business soon.One way of getting new clients i felt was to also offer web design solutions to customers that way there is a good chance they will also host with me.

Since i dont do web designing is it possible to say outsource them to India and then share the profits?? ---- what is your opinion on this?

You might consider just hiring a web design contractor. Do specific jobs for the company, and you pay them as you feel. You can make your own profit this way, and pay them as they wish. You then charge the client for the design, and you can add in extra costs to receive profit.

I do this a lot, you will fnd that you have to do ALOT of middle man work but essentially you can still amke very good profit margins.

I also use them to build software etc. very capable people, just need a lot of direction.

U mean u also use "pixelguise"? You have some sort of arrangement with these guys -- where u get people from the USA -clients- i mean and hand them over to him for the work.U make a comission of the deal. ---- is that how it works?

No i dont use Pixelguise whatever that is. I originally posted a small project on elance.com and then got into personal comunication with the guys after. Since then i have been getting my own clients in the UK and designing webpages & software applications for companies here. I design the applications in visio and send them to Pakistan where these guys are and they build them. I also get them to design web pages for my clients.

You musnt think this is a case of:

- Get the work
- Mark it up
- Move it on

I play a very dedicated role in making sure dealines are met, i liase with very demanding UK clients and have to forward work on etc. I spend long & late days working but we get a lot done by outsourcing.
