I am looking to purchase one of these scripts and it seems both do the same thing pretty much.

My question is does anyone have any knowledge of 1 being better than the other?

well k-rate cerainly has a nicer looking design, features and it seems to run faster.
I-rater has been around alot longer and has a really easy to use admin panel

I quess it comes down to how experienced you are with php?
If your not very experienced, I-rater is defenitly the way to go as if u check the k-rater forums, it seems like it's full of un aswered questions and bugs.
I rater definatly has good support, I've never waited more than a day for any questions or problems I've had to bug them about.
