How do web sites become so interactive? The kinds with up-to-date content all the time from all over the place.

I'm looking to make HostCompare.com more interactive complete with chat forms, mailing lists, discussions, comments on every page memberships etc. I'm wondering how I can go about doing that or if some here could even assist me in setting up such things on the site.

I'm really looking to do the following:

- Interactive resource database. People can continually add new relevant links to web hosting. Listing is moderated so irrelevent links get booted.

- Comments on the bottom of every page. People can explain whether or not the page was useful to them, they can discuss or list resources; anything goes as long as its relevant.

- A chat room purely about web hosting. chat events would occur regularily such as exclusive CEO chats and things of that sort.

- A daily updating news section. Up to date and recent news headlines about web hosting.

- A discussion forum without limitations. I'm talking NO limitations, anything goes. No memberships needed just a FFA web hosting discussion forum.
