I am helping out a person, designing an Car Imports magazine website. He needs a members area. Users should be able to register automatically and gain access to the members area. A nice ADMIN panel is wanted, that shows the lists of people, and has the ability to send the whole list a newsletter. Preferably a script that stores the information in a MySQL database. This is very important and urgent. Please do not tell me to go to hotscripts or sourceforge or resourceindex, I want a script that one of you has used or knows about. Please don't refer me to a directory.

It doesn't store in a database, but flatfile. You can make wahtever you want in your members area... you can email all members and view stats on login details, etc. Pretty good for being free. :)

you know I barely realized that you wanted a php script. Oh well, if you can't find one.. perl is just as sweet. :o
