View Full Version : Switching from Bungeecode to another resller ... please advise
varsani 01-04-2006, 06:11 PM Please advise on a reseller. Great support is a must, overselling, & end user support is always a plus;) except our support service will be outstanding anyway....
$50 limit... not over tha!...
uk host is a plus (uk servers) otherwise us fast servers is ok aswell...
jmweb 01-04-2006, 06:54 PM Did you have any specific space/bandwidth requirements? You can checkout the web hosting offers section here http://webhostingtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?f=4 and signatures too!
John
varsani 01-04-2006, 07:01 PM not really. 10gig / 100gig... something like that 50 bucks pretty high price
Jim_UK 01-04-2006, 07:02 PM Aren't Bungeecode quite new (with offering uk hosting)? Why the quick move if you don't mind me asking?
varsani 01-04-2006, 07:07 PM lpanel lisence has been revoked!... suppot staff generaly answer most questions with please submit a support request... etc. not much knowledge... was told that they could transfer my site and database, and couldent... variabels on php wernt turned on and when i asked no response!... (live chat) again.. support tickets in my opinion a bit to slow...
StackHost 01-04-2006, 07:32 PM Is your budget $50.00/month or year? Either way, look through the offers, there are plenty of great hosts there.
Brendan Diaz 01-05-2006, 01:03 AM Do you have any preference when it comes to which control panel you will be using? Also, have you considered signing up with a company that only offers premium reseller hosting solutions and then hiring either remote technicians or an outsourcing company to fulfill your “end-user-support” requirements?
If you’re looking for a cpanel-based company that does offer end-user-support I suggest taking a look at http://www.ResellerZoom.com. I believe that I actually already suggested them to you in another thread :). If you’re interested in possibly using a different control panel with tighter space/bandwidth restrictions I highly recommend http://www.cartikahosting.com and http://www.JodoHost.com – they both run H-Sphere clustered servers. Annnnd, if you’re interested in possibly going with a company that just specializes in reseller hosting and then hiring a company that specializes in outsourced support that’d bring up a whole slew of other company recommendations.
Let us know how your search goes - best of luck to you!
varsani 01-05-2006, 05:13 AM Hello Brendan:
i was actualy thinking of giving site5 a try.. I've herd of some problems, but speaking with various live support agents, *even though i belive them to be biased on some leval, as they would be* have told me that there is no such thing going on, and theyve improoved their services. I will give them a try, else take them up on their refund offer. Space/Bandwidth is good for $50 ...
Support is great so far...
they will help me with transferring clients (wont do it) but will help they say...
30 ip's!
and a host of features... Lets hope they give us their soon to be award winning software flashback to us resellers...

That surprised me also. They are doing good without it, but they must lose a lot of clients.

cunning 01-06-2006, 06:13 AM Congrats Varsani with your new host, as it was suggested to you previously to not to go with a man with a bad history.
Anyways, hope you come up with a good review later sometime
