Hi, Im pretty new to all this. But i was woundering, What would i need to run my own server? WHat computer ect.. What programs ect.. And how much would it cost to get started?

Hello, Robert you can use really any computer. As long as its online. You can use colocation - Which means send it to a datacenter - Ive seen cheap over the past few weeks. If you want a control panel, youll need one of them and most preferibly a linux operating system if you want a linux server.

What spec computer would i need?

Just take a server with theplanet, including cPanel, read docs and learn.
