Hello, does anybody know any URL for time synchronisation? My server was 1 day ahead today.
( well, 1st of may, no work, but not correct)
I know the uni berlin ( germany ) has or had
a web address for this.
Thanks Joachim

hmm, a URL? there are web sites you can go to that show you the time, but you really need an NTP server to give your system an accurate time, there are some 3rd party applications too that will automatically contact an NTP server regularly and update your system with the correct time.
you can find out bucket loads about time here:

These are the only NTP time sycn servers I know:
ntp.blueyonder.co.uk
time.windows.com
time.nist.gov

The best option is to query a large list of public servers (there's at least a couple hundred available), filter those which disagree with the rest, and then randomly pick five servers out of those which remain. If you rely upon a single server then you're quite vulnerable to network faults.
