Hi all,

i'm stuck and need your help. Need to change my webhosting provider and want to switch to Win from Linux.

I've found a very few webhosting providers that seems to be at least serious and match my needs... but i'm here to accept your advisors! ;-)

I need a Win2k machine with ASP 3 support, MS Access database support, FileSystemObject and my own dir where to run my very own scripts. Not need any fancy components installed nor DLL's. Just a CDONTS would be fine!

I had a look around and found these four hosts:

www.HostWay.com (these had some SPAM problem in the past it seems from old newsgroup posts)
www.DellHost.com (i trust the brand)
www.Alentus.com (especially this one attracts me!)
www.Brinkster.com (everything works on the free site i have with them but would like more news about their servers availybility www.netcraft.co.uk dont have any uptime info's on them).

But definitely i'd go with www.maximumasp.com if i had enough money (my site doesn't make ANY money for me!).

I do care very much about uptime AND availibility. Do not care very much about technical support but do care a lot about relyability.

Could you please help me making a good choice?

Thank you,
Lorenzo

I've been using Brinkster for a little over a year, and have never had any downtime with them, except one pre-announcde hour, for server maintinence.
