when selling hosting "reseller plans"

do you guys think google adwords and overture can produce sufficient ROI to justify an exclusive monthly spending of 20k (both combined)?

For sure, just track everything and watch your return versus costs and you will have to decide how much a customer is worth to you...

I think Reseller hosting sells better in websites, forums, directories that targets the same market.

The ROI won't be huge, but you could make it positive. Either way, the profit margin would be relatively thin using Adwords or Overture. I'd suggest checking out other advertising methods, like those hostpress recommended.

These ppc advertising methods can be very expensive and unrewarding without quite a bit of targetting, smart placement, and research. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
