i´m new in this issues and interested on get a space to publish a site, but servers that i have seen, some of them make the diference on webspace and another one for database, for instance:

xMB Webspace
xGB Monthly Bandwidth
xMB MySQL Database

is this a comercial or tech issue? i mean; if i pay for a space, why i cannot use more space for the database even if i have much webspace free?

there are any good and affordable server that dont do that restritcion that you may advice?

The reason for this is that the host may be using a separate server to host just databases. These servers are designed for top performance with databases. If you were to put a large SQL database on a shared hosting server, you may experience reduced performance.

Exactly. But if you do not have excessive database needs, don't worry about it.
