Since the thread was started about movies, I thought I would start one about tv series ;) My vote would go to JAG, Hogans Heros, and Three's Company.

OK, I hate listing bests and favorites, both because my taste changes every day or so and because I know I'll forget some anyway. But if I did make a list it'd have to include these:

The Simpsons
NewsRadio
Homicide: Life on the Streets (except the last season)
Buffy the Vampire Slayer

LOL that actually is a good show :) Yeah, it really is. Sometimes it's a little too cute, but for just well-delivered and well-written dialogue there isn't much on TV today that beats it. And I've been a big fan of Lauren Graham since she first started doing bit parts on various sitcoms, and then big roles in ill-fated series like Townies. And of course anyone who gets a recurring role on NewsRadio deserves some recognition!

OK, I admit it, she's my dream girl! :)

Law & Order CI My friend does casting for that one, so it's the only L&O show I watch -- and I get advance notice when there's a notable celebrity making a guest appearance. For a while I was turned off on the whole L&O franchise by the original's tendency to play fast and loose with legal precedent, and then SVU's tiring focus on trying to be lurid as possible at every moment. But CI has D'Onofrio, and I've been wanting more of him since his H:LOTS appearance as the guy who got killed in the subway.

It has become a habit to watch these shows each week.. sometimes they are good, sometimes not. But they keep me entertained during late night dinner. :)

Monday- Angel
Tuesday- Buffy, Gilmore Girls, Smallville
Wednesday- My Wife and Kids, South Park
Thursday- Friends, Will & Grace, Just Shoot Me, ER
Friday- Star Trek TNG, Invader ZIM, Law & Order SVU
Saturday- X-Men, The Zeta Project, Yuyu Hakusho, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo, Space Ghost (brak is so cute) -- my animation fill for the entire week
Sunday- no TV, nothing good on. Probably just flip through stuff.

the daily show, the tonight show and late night m-f. SNL when I remember that its on. I watch law&order when I catch it on and hmmm.. I like The FBI Files, The New Detectives--Case Studies in Forensic Science, and other shows they play late at night on TDC or TLC. A&E biographies are sometimes interesting... I used to be a big News Channel junkie and watch Fox News all day long.. it's been a long time since I did that. Sometimes I'll catch the O'Reilly Factor. Politically Incorrect.. I forget the time its on alot so I barely catch it, but I love Bill Maher. :D

I need to cut back on the tv LOL
