I'm launching a voice broadcasting campaign where a company will call 1,000 small businesses and each call will have a recorded messaged played to them when someone picks up and if there interested they'll be asked to press 1. (up to that part I'm fine I'm having a marketing consultant do that recorded script) Now once they click 1 and get connected to me, what should i say at first, how should i communicate with them. --- Could some one give me an idea with a script.

I used to work for a company that did cold calling.

I'll have a go at writting a script, I will post it later.

I assume you are selling your hosting correct? If so, Just be honest about your services and let them ask the questions. I suspect a number of them may just press one to say ... "never call me again", or something along those lines.

Good luck.

There will also be an option or button you can click that says you can be removed from the list. Thanks for everyone advice so far, more would be appreciated.

I would try to write a quick script that will basically tell the person what the advantages are for choosing your company as a hosting provider. Focus in on your greatest strengths. Some good onew would be customer satisfaction and technical support. Don't try to tell them too much though, you'll end up loosing them. It's better to keep it quick and friendly, not pushy.

Remember that they probably will not sign up right away, so give them something they can refer back to sugh as a "free web site marketing guide" sent to their email with your company branding on it. We wrote a basic marketing guide for our potential clients and it has worked miracles for us!

Good luck!

Your best bet would be to create your owna nd save it as a .PDF document. Include topics such as branding your website, keeping consistent with stationary, using signatures on emails, different ways to advertise online and locally and maybe give a directory of different places to advertise online. I took a clip from our guide and placed it in an article on this site:

Hope this helps.
