I'm looking for a low bandwidth host, need about 30-75 MB web space, less than 1 GB b/w, believe I used about 200 MB last month.
I don't need much support, only if they problem is caused by server outage, or network problems, or in the rare case that I get files owned by 'nobody'.
Am seeking to pay between $4-7 per month. Specifics are located in web requests forum http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=47147
Hosts twoard end seem to be running dry as they are now offering prices much above my maximum., obviously did not read post or they wouldn't have replied.
Anysuggestions would be appreciated.

affordablehost.com has a 75 meg / 1 gb package for $69 per year. Also some cheaper packages that may work for you. I had a site with them and never had any problems. No downtime that I noticed and seemed to be a fast server. Only downside would be paying the whole year in advance. I would just make sure you don't use any of the scripts they don't allow (phpnuke and phpbb were not allowed when I used them).
Also below10host.com was good while I was with them, but that was about 6 months ago - had used them over a year with almost no downtime and decent server speed. They have a $5.95 package with 1gb bandwidth and 50meg space.

You simply use nobody.cgi (http://www.freecode.com/projects/nobodycgi/?topic=37,92,219,222) to delete them.

True we don't support asp.
Maybe it's just my bad luck but I had more than one person sign up and want to do some really high end ASP stuff, as no one around here is an ASP programmer, and Chilisoft isn't 100% I quickly realized we couldn't honestly support ASP so don't put it on the web site that we do.
We've got servers with Chilisoft like most any other unix-based web host but advertising "ASP supported" is just a lie since we really don't :)
And if I can't get mod_jk figured out soon JSP will be removed (argh).
