View Full Version : To host or not to Host, that is the question?
wsfeb 12-29-2005, 12:17 PM Hi Guys,
I am putting another poll. That is the beaty of this forum that a lot of valuable data can be collected which helps in running a successful hosting business.
Give your opinion in poll plz.
Thanks
JustinSmall 12-29-2005, 12:19 PM I vote don't host!!! :) Find a host, it's too much work/time to keep up a hosting business... kinda costy too, no real money in it nowadays...
AdeptHosts 12-29-2005, 12:22 PM It depends. If you have time, money, and the want to succeed, yes then host. If you are just looking for a quick buck and to get out of it the easy way, don't host. It will bite you in the butt. It takes a lot of time, and money to keep a web host up and running, and even if you have time and money if you don't have the want to do it, it wont happen.

yeah, but it can also go against you when you use dirty tricks to make your reputation 'better'. ;)

Nadabrahma 12-31-2005, 07:00 AM Well, the question is interesting but I guess it's been seen before a number of times.
:)
Personally, I definitely put customer service at the top of my list although features are important also (NOT so much the space and transfer, although web hosts seem to use that as a primary sales argument!)
