I just installed the gallery2 into the original hardware of Raq3i; I found it run slowly normally. It maybe the imagemagick was run. Sometime it was hang off. I need hardly reboot it.

I hope it can be improve, planned to upgrade it to CPU500 and 512RAM.

Did you try install PC-133 RAM to raq? or can it support DDR?

Sometime I checked the command TOP, it shown:
11:57am up 12:43, 1 user, load average: 10.50, 1.93, 0.99

The load average is over 10 and then hang off machine!!

It will not support DDR or any "new" RAM specs. It's PC-100, but you can install PC-133 and it will auto-downgrade itself to run at the slower clockspeed.

ImageMagick is able to get your CPU load up to 10?? When you run top, sort by CPU usage ("P") and see what processes pop to the top.

Yes! If I upgrade it to 500MHz and 1G (512 x 2 pcs), will it be big improve from now? Any suggestion for the software parts?
