Is it legal or whatever to sell .tk domains? I have a wicked one that no-one uses to get to my site so im thinking of letting someone else have it or selling it!

Why not e-mail them, and ask it ? :)
But I don't think .tk are valuable, but that's my opinion.

Good luck ;)

i dont think its worth much, since .tk doesn't have the options thats a .com,.net, or .org has because it doesn't have the DNS and stuff. its only a redirecting URL, so I doubt it's worth anything

You don't have the right to own the Free Domain at .tk. Those free domain need to point to an existing website.

What if I made it to a Paid .tk domain could I sell it then?

As i stated in my previous post, you should contact the .tk registry about that.

No reason why .tk shouldn't be worth something - plenty of good names left, "tk" could stand for "tech", and you can even try it out for free first before you commit yourself to payment.

BTW - I got myself a few free .tk names (you're allowed to get up to 3). Pretty nice to able to get a domain name for free. Much nicer than the old Namezero "free" name that had half the screen taken up with an ad banner. Let's see how .tk progresses in the future and if they figure out a way to screw their free customers. So far however, they seem OK.
