I decided the other day that I only want a hosting company with live chat support, preferably (24/7)...maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I only seem to have found these:

hostgator.com
hostexcellence.com
websitesource.com

site5.com (8-5 M-F)


You guys know any more?

hostdepartment.com have 24/7 live support. But I would not recomend them.

HostGator has both 24/7 phone and online chat support.

Hostdepartment is really bad, i had terrible time with them servers were constantly going down and support was awful.

there are many there.
it is just that they have to monitor their servers and make sure they are always up.

Most web hosting companies these days do have live chat support, but not all of those companies are reliable. You just have to search for the right one for you! :)

Live chat on a site is not a guarantee that the host is good. But its kind of in these days and no host can avoid it.

sswebhost dot com, they are on msn probably 23 hours a day.

Site5 only has live SALES support.

The only tech support you get from them is through email.

Gearworx.net recently added support via chat
I have not used it but support via email has been very fast

I just moved to Site5 from Dreamhost (they were really slow, both in service and in serving my website). Even though Site5 does not have live chat, their ticket response time is less than 20 minutes.

My one and only ticket was resolved within 16 minutes (at 9:30 pm US EST). They offer 24/7 support and have one of the best control panels I have experienced (and I have seen many).

I recommand jodohost,

They got Technical/Sale/Domain Live chat support. :angel:

However, email support for special configuration
normally take 2 hour to reply. :crying:

I second that, new outsourcing options are allowing all levels of companies to offer 24/7/365 technical support to their clients.
