keystroker 12-28-2005, 09:03 AM I decided the other day that I only want a hosting company with live chat support, preferably (24/7)...maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I only seem to have found these:
hostgator.com
hostexcellence.com
websitesource.com
site5.com (8-5 M-F)
You guys know any more?

Hostdepartment is really bad, i had terrible time with them servers were constantly going down and support was awful.

it is just that they have to monitor their servers and make sure they are always up.

ranjeetsodhi 12-30-2005, 12:40 AM I just moved to Site5 from Dreamhost (they were really slow, both in service and in serving my website). Even though Site5 does not have live chat, their ticket response time is less than 20 minutes.
My one and only ticket was resolved within 16 minutes (at 9:30 pm US EST). They offer 24/7 support and have one of the best control panels I have experienced (and I have seen many).

I second that, new outsourcing options are allowing all levels of companies to offer 24/7/365 technical support to their clients.
