I have had no problem all weekend. Seems to be ok now also.. Must be an ISP issue.

Where are you from? IIRC rackshack blocks a number of IP ranges completely due to fraud concerns.

Do they block the IP's from their main site, or just the order page?

I believe the "norm" is to block IP's only on the order page.

I can go to their forum page but not the main page. I am in Toronto and using sympatico high speed connections.

My server at Terrabyte is down. There is someting wrong with the server and I am not getting any help from them. (I have been with them for over a year)

Maybe it's the popup on their main page? Are you running any kind of software that stop a page from loading if it's got a popup on it?

They don't block the order page. They just have some text that says that their order form is offline. I'm from Australia and they have blocked out IPs from around these parts. Can't work out why they blocked Australia. :confused: Hey, we're the good guys!!! :)

I can not access them using IP either. This is not good. I was going to get a dedicated server!
I can not even send them email!!!

Im on Rogers Hi-Speed, Same area but different backbone,

Both sites work for me...you should probably call Bell Canada they obviously seem to have lost a router along that line...

If he's getting all the way to "66.162.210.254" which is where I get to and I CAN view the page then it is not a symaptico problem, not only that, but in his traceroute nowhere in the sympatico backbone do you see problems.

I'd have to assume its just your computer... OR rackshack is blocking the sympatico 64.*/65.* range.. although that would make no sense :)

see if you can telnet to www.rackshack.net 80

Are you running your highspeed through a router? You might be getting packet fragmentation if your MTU isn't properly set. Try forcing it to 1400. This is typical of PPPoE connections via Sympatico.
