Does anyone know what is happening to webhosting.com?
i'm hosted there, have them numerous emails over the last 2 weeks asking for help because my cgi-bin has been stuffing up. i haven't had one reply.
whats worse, today my site has been down all day, also webhosting.com's site is down too.
has anyone heard anything or know what is going on?
i hate being in the dark, especially when my site isn't up.

Does not sound very good Chuck, I could not access the site before.. I have never heard of them before personally Have you tried contacting them voice?

but I too found the site down, doesn't sound good. Hope you have a backup of your site. If you can't get them on the phone you should find a new host right away and get your nameservers changed over because it could take a couple of days for those to switch.
If you need any advice on how to do that or any help, PM me and I will try and give you any advice I can.

yeah it is not good, so it looks like i need to get a new host,
the trouble is it is hard to find a host that has real media support, not many have a real server. anyone know of any good hosts with a real server?

This is what Webhosting.com did to my sites while I was with them:
1. Took my money
2. Caused my web site to go down for a solid 2 hours a day
3. Accidentally deleted my cgi bin every other week
4. Return a "server too busy" error page every second time someone tried to access my site
And here is what they did not do:
1. Give me a refund
2. Provide support
3. Fix problems
I hear they aren't as bad anymore, but still I hate them worse than *****. Oh yes and they offer unlimited bandwidth! :rolleyes: :puke:
