JodoHost hsphere host has not been that good for us so far. Only been a few days though...
We cancelled Reseller-Center because they are very, very bad now. We kept giving them chances to improve, but they really have Downtime galore and slow support with lots of excuses why they want our money but cannot perform.
So we setup with JodoHost and received a sign-up authorization call from someone on a cell phone? Couldn't really make out what he saying because of the thick accent and/or cell phone static. I admit that I was on a cell phone so maybe it was on my line. Doubtful though... :)
Anyway we are stuck right now with our new account on JodoHost. Apparently they ran out of dedicated IPs or something. No dedicated IPs are available for our account. We were promised 10 on signup.
Now their techsupport is not even responding to our requests for status. "Only" been 24 hours, so I guess this is normal. Somehow I doubt that though. Either way we are without what we were promised at signup.
I do not want to cancel our account, but this is not starting out so well and it looks like we will have no choice.

Line connectivity can be a problem sometimes. Our sales team calls to verify new orders from our listed office numbers.
We are in the process of upgrading our phone systems. I apologise for this

We have plenty of IP addresses available. Can you please PM me your ticket number. Such requests normally do not take more than an hour. I am suspecting you may have submitted your ticket incorrectly via your reseller helpdesk and not via the JodoHost helpdesk.
Also, I do request you use our forum. Our team regularly browses them and if you report such issues there, we are quick to get onto them

Hello, I tracked down your ticket. I apologise once again for the delay. Support did ask you to hold but they did respond to your requests promptly. The reason this issue took long is because of the christmas weekend. We have 2 level3 techs that are authorised to manage IP assignment and both were not immediately available. I took care of this for you

WHT is the right place to post as this is where we learned of JodoHost. Others should see the lengths that you have gone through to help us. So hats off to you. :)
I am still a bit concerned that you do not have a stash of IP addresses available.
We are experienced hsphere users and never had to wait for IP addresses, they are supposed to be pre-installed and ready in the control panel (in our experience).
This was important because our staff was on hand over the long weekend to do our move to your service so as not to impact our customers too much.
Since we are new to your service and this was our first ticket, we started to get worried about our decision after 12 hours of waiting. So we have lost some time, but in the end no biggie, really.
Thank you.

We have a large stash of IP addresses assigned to us by ARIN. Currently several hundred are free. However we have thousands of IPs on the system. IP conflicts used to be a real issue with us several months back. We used to have a network admin spending almost an hour a day checking router logs to see where an IP conflict was coming from. Since then, we put a system in place where only specific level3 admins were authorised to do IP assignments, reassignments and management.
IPs are assigned server wise. In this case, Win13, had run out of IPs. And our support team had put the ticket on hold, waiting for one of the authorised techs to look into it. Given the christmas weekend, none were immediately available.
We do check servers at regular intervals and proactively assign large IP blocks to servers. Sometimes more are needed and we do not immediately notice the problem. However when a customer reports the issue, we do usually take care of it quickly

Hello Shasta,
I am typically the one that handles IP assignments on windows servers, when I went off shift Christmas Eve at 6am, there were still a few IPs on win13, I am sorry there were not enough for you when you needed them.
I am normally around during the day and could have handled the ticket, but was out for the holiday, and only on call for a major emergency.
I just happened to run across this thread and felt I needed to reply as well, as this is typically my duty, thanks Yash for handling this.

No, their support forums is the place to post.
