Martin Lawrence" and "Dumb and Dumber feat. Jim Carry". Those guys crack me up. DanielP 04-28-2002, 12:04 AM Hrm.... i'd have to say its a tie between Black Hawk Down and We Were Soldiers both very dramatic  netacore 04-28-2002, 12:22 AM I'd have to say 'Easy Rider' simply because it had the best end scene :) mindboggle 04-28-2002, 12:30 AM I would say there's a tie between Aliens and Independence Day (awesome visual effects) for me. And my favorite comedy would have to be Office Space. AI was a movie that would've been good except for the last half of the movie - what was Spielberg thinking? Black Hawk Down was a nice combo of drama and action tied in with realism and history. Shrek - I laughed so hard... LOL i really can't name a one-time favorite movie tho... but I happen to like stuff like Mission Impossible, The Thomas Crown Affair (very nice and creative movie), The Score, Ronin, Enemy of the State, The Saint, etc... (get a pattern going with these espionage/disguise/etc type of movies) :D jayjay 04-28-2002, 01:12 AM 1) Lost Highway 2) Blackhawk Down 3) Lord of the Rings 4) Office Space 5) Fight Club rey 04-28-2002, 01:25 AM 1. But narrowed down, the list would consist of: - Benny and Joon - The Princess Bride - The Shawshank Redemption - Monty Python and the Holy Grail - Attack the Gas Station - Ferris Bueller's Day Off - Heathers - Wheels on Meals And I've noticed a bunch of you guys go for that action stuff. Perhaps you would like to try this Korean film called "Attack the Gas Station." You can find a review here (http://www.mediacircus.net/atgs.html). It was probably the most funniest movie I have ever seen. Ever. Plus it is mindlessly violent and you gotta give props to the hilarious English subtitles. It is a region-free DVD so no worries about player compatibility. 311 04-28-2002, 07:40 PM Mine was: Enemy of the State and Gladiator ;) TopDog07 04-28-2002, 11:06 PM A few more I just thought of... A big difference from those hollywood 'gang' movies is there's not a single gun in the whole movie. (300 pound 'Mongrel Mob' members tend to prefer the feeling of skin on skin it seems). Took a date to see it at the cinema when it came out and sat in the front row. She was visibly shaken by the end of it... possibly not the best choice in retrospect :) Greg Moore Tim Greer 05-05-2002, 12:50 AM Greg, thanks for the tip. My wife was telling me about that. I don't remember if she saw it and liked it, or if she just wanted to watch it because she heard it was good. Either way, it looks like I'll be watching it at some point. :-) appletreats 05-05-2002, 11:06 PM Office Space :emlaugh: Spiderman  Moulin Rouge  Gladiator  2001: Space Odyssey    weirdest thing I've ever seen. didn't make any sense at all, nobody talked for the first half hour, half of the movie was babies floating around and swirling colors. most confusing and completely pointless movie i've ever seen. but i liked it.. and i don't know why. bobcares 05-06-2002, 04:22 AM Hi! The chief inspector's wife is into gourmet cooking and those scenes are truly outrageous. scslawin 05-06-2002, 03:41 PM To me, it's a big TIE for MY fave: "Twelve Angry Men" "Glengarry Glen Ross" Man, that's entertainment. Steve jasonX 05-06-2002, 03:41 PM Hell yea, Donny Darko rules! Thats like, one of the best movies. Anyways, I can't believe no one has said CUBE. That is probably my all time faivorite..
