Anybody have any info on dtwebworks.com? I like the looks of their $99/month linux dedicated package but the company seems very new and I'm wary of being burned.

I was originally looking at 4webspace because of the positive feedback, but we'll be running some Java programs on the machine and I think the RAQ will be underpowered.

Thanks for any advice.

Matt

Im not trying to promote but wanted to correct your statement about us being new, we actually have been in business for over 7 years (verifiable by calling the Wichita Chamber of Commerce, or State offices) and we have been offering Internet Solutions for the last 3 years.

Oh in addition for additional feedback on us you can search for cheapservers.net as that was our old site name.

Do you mean dtwebhosting.com or dtwebworks.com?

I tried dtwebhosting.com and the site is still under construction. As of dtwebworks.com, even though I am not their customer, but I can say that they have a pretty good reputation on this forum.

Charles, I'm glad to see you still at work today.

Have you checked your email lately?
I need the info on the secondary DNS.

Thank you!

PS. I also need help on something else. I'll email you just now.

Sorry, it was indeed dtwebworks.com I was inquiring about.

More questions:

What is the bandwidth setup to the dedicated machines? Is it burstable, etc.?

What is the charge for going over your allocated transfer rate, and are FTP transfers included in that total?

Any suggestions from people for $99/month dedicated hosting arrangements would be great as well. I would prefer to not have a Cobalt RAQ, but if it's the best option then I'll consider it.

Thanks again.

Matt

We have multiple T3 lines and is fully burstable, additional bandwidth is 2.00/gig, any data moving through your port on the switch is included.

Charles, I am also interested on what method you take to calculated bandwith/traffic for a given month? Average? Actual GB transfered? xxth percentile?

cheers,

Yeah, I was going to say that too when I saw it yesterday, but realize that some conversation was allowed between members and Bill (VDI), also about cpanal, billadmin, tera-byte, etc. It is the grey area that doesn't quite fit into any rule.

This really isn't the hosts' here. Members please try to ask direct questions via email if and whenever possible. :)
