View Full Version : Deserted Island
Ok. You have been sentence to spend the rest of your life on a deserted island. You’re allowed to take with you 3 albums (or cd’s for the younger folk lol) what 3 records would you take.
My choices would be.
I would take anything by the Stones.
Pink Floyd. The Wall
Aerosmiths Toys in the Attic
PS Yes you have a sterio on this island that never need batteries

NetXL 04-27-2002, 09:33 PM Radiohead - Pablo Honey
Tool - Aenima
The Crystal Method - Vegas
Probably my three favourite artists, all very different styles.
SoftWareRevue 04-27-2002, 09:43 PM I have such a hard time with these types of questions.
It's really difficult to narrow it down to three.
I would have an easier time if we could have thirty.
But, off the top of my head:
Pink Floyd - the final cut
Van Morrison - Into The Music
Evita - Soundtrack
ScottD 04-27-2002, 09:44 PM Roger Waters - Pros and Cons
The Commitments - Soundtrack, Volume 1
Iron Maiden - Somewhere in Time
lovelie 04-27-2002, 09:46 PM Cocteau Twins: Milk and Kisses
Counting Crows: August and Everything After
Nirvana: In Utero
& about 300 others. arrrr..
Aralanthir 04-27-2002, 10:39 PM Rammstein - Sehnsucht

:uzi: target practice...hehehe
Actually, it would be
The Joshua Tree by U2
The Singles 1967-1969 (blue) by The Beatles
and last, but not least, Rocks by Aerosmith
Possible substitution for one of the above: Moving Pictures by Rush
Oh, and an iPod with everything from ABC to X...hehehe....2000 mp3's baby...apple rox!

:D one of the funnier album titles I've seen in a while...
Hmm, three... right now:
Peter Murphy - 'Wild Birds'
Stabbing Westward - 'Wither, Blister, Burn & Peel'
Type O Negative - 'The Least Worst Of'
though I've been listening to a lot of 'Tapping the Vein' lately - great cover of Tori Amos' 'Cornflake Girl' amongst others.
Greg Moore
netacore 04-28-2002, 12:18 AM I just realized i've been listening to pink floyd-darkside of the moon for the past 3 months set on continuous loop ..

Abu Mami 04-28-2002, 06:30 AM Aqualung - Jethro Tull
Let it Bleed or Sticky Fingers - Rolling Stones
Disraeli Gears - Cream (Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, Ginger Baker)
Since I'll have a stereo with unlimited power, can I also have unlimited Guinness on tap too? (Alright, now I'm waiting for the posts explaining the evils of unlimited :-)
